大专以上学历可以是在中国获得的，也可以是加拿大获得的，只要能获得加拿大学历认证机构如WES的认证；工作经历可以是加拿大的，可以是中国的，也可以是美国、澳大利亚等全球各地的，只要是真实的，我们也都可以为你匹配合适的职位及雇主。LMIA的申请难点在雇主这边，这也是LMIA收费高的原因。雇主申请LMIA会面对重重障碍，违规操作会被高额处罚。
这些前文已经提到。另外，雇主必须登载4周以上（最好是12周以上）的招聘广告，广告必须登载在Job Bank 以及另外两家较大的招聘平台上（可以是纸媒或网络），而且这些广告的发布区域必须是全国而不是本省本市。雇主还必须积极参加各种招聘活动，如招聘会，大学生实习或找职介中心。雇主递交LMIA申请时，必须附上公司注册文件，执照，近年税务报表100、125，以及T2125。
